Tony McKeown has been providing IT support to our school this year. We buy hours from Tony and he troubleshoots any IT problem that arises. He responds to emails, texts or phonecalls immediately, in most instances, and he is in the school within 24 hours. His prices are competitive and he has special offers from time to time where you can get extra hours free when you buy a bundle of hours. He counts the time from when he walks in the door of the school and doesn’t include his travelling time.
He has maintained our network and server and he has set up a back-up of all data on the server. He regularly checks the system remotely to make sure all is ok.
He sources IT equipment or provides quotes and is fully aware of the tight budgets that schools are operating with.
Tony has provided excellent impartial advice when it came to setting up our IT infrastructure and he also helped to explain some of the IT lingo.
Tony has sorted broadband issues, set up computers/laptops, upgraded older laptops to squeeze a bit more out of them, sourced and installed a suitable anti-virus package on all computers and helped with IWBs.
Tony has all the skills and contacts that a school needs. He is a gentleman to deal with and is very unobtrusive when he has work to do. I have found him to an invaluable and affordable resource who has kept our IT system working while offering a wide range of expertise as well. I would recommend him unreservedly to any school that wants their IT infrastructure looked after so they can invest their energy in teaching and learning.
